Cash Prizes and Holiday Vouchers to be Won in Shopping Centre
Great cash prizes and holiday vouchers are just some of the treats shoppers in the Aberdeen Bon Accord St. Nicholas shopping centre could win this weekend (Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 November 2006), courtesy of North East charity Inspire’s raffle, which is being held to raise money for their annual ‘Sparkles’ party at the Beach Ballroom on the 25 November.
“Inspire offers opportunities to improve the quality of life for people living with learning disabilities in the North East of Scotland,” explains marketing officer for Aberdeen Inspire, Debbie Rennie. “We provide a range of services from residential and rural support to independent travel training and holiday schemes. The Sparkles annual party gives service users the opportunity to meet in a fun and relaxed environment.”
Inspire Aberdeen Raffle tickets cost £1 and will be on sale in the central mall of the shopping centre’s lower atrium all day Saturday and Sunday. By buying a ticket, shoppers will help fund the organisation of the party, as well as giving themselves the chance to win £100 in cash, John Lewis vouchers or holiday vouchers from Thomas Cook.
Centre manager Frank Sutherland says: “I am very pleased, on behalf of the shopping centre, to be able to host Inspire for their raffle and hope that shoppers will appreciate this worthy cause and buy plenty of raffle tickets to ensure that this year’s Sparkles party is one to remember.”
