B&Q Peterhead Invernettie
The Peterhead DIY store opened several months ago and Mrs B has gone into overdrive doing up the house and decorating. Today she who must be obeyed for she is awfa scary decided to install a new shower. So muggings here found himself knee deep in water trying to sort out her mistakes. Course if I’d started the job I’d have done the preparation first – like turning off the water supply!
One turn of the stop cock soon saw the water disappear and a quick trip to the new shop behind McDonalds saw us asking a knowledgeable chap called Stan all about the correct fittings we need. The great thing about B and Q is that all their employees either know athing aboot athing when it comes to DIY, or know exactly which employee on duty kens a aboot the right tool for the right job and what to do about it. Especially handy when you buy a different make of shower and all the fittings aren’t the same.
So now back at home I’d no sooner had a cup of tea, read the paper and walked the dog than the missus had fitted the shower. Nothing to it this DIY lark!
